For our products to perform above and beyond your expectations, Dollamur made several recent technological advances in our mats, starting with the production of the vinyl mat surface. In recent years there has been a key initiative in the healthcare industry to move away from the use of antimicrobials and replace these with a biocidal additive.

Dollamur and the martial arts world are proud to celebrate Mike Swain's induction into the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame! A bronze plaque honoring Swain will be permanently displayed on the SAP center concourse in San Jose State University for all event attendees and visitors to enjoy.

Chuck Thompson, Vice President of Wrestling, has been with Dollamur Sport Surfaces for just over 24 years acquiring all kinds of knowledge about wrestling and what it takes to build and design a successful wrestling mat.

The Arizona Interscholastic Association has entered into a partnership with Dollamur Sports Surfaces to become the “Official Spiritline Mat of the AIA.” Thanks to this partnership, the AIA will receive a new co-branded nine-panel competition mat for the association’s Spiritline championship events.

In 2009, Dollamur unveiled its patented FLEXI-Connect® system, a built-into-the-mat hook and loop system for connecting adjoining rolls, creating a seamless mat surface.  The FLEXI-Connect® system allows the connection of multiple rolls without the need for tape, which eliminates the significant expense of taping mats, saving customers thousands of dollars each year.  As the demand for high-quality mats grew in the Martial Arts industry, in 2008 Dollamur purchased Swain™ Mats – traditional judo mats designed and developed by Mike Swain, World Judo Champion and 4-time Judo Olympian.

At Dollamur, we always love a gym that changes things up and goes against the norm. At Championship Martial Arts, they’re using Dollamur carpet-bonded foam mats, rather than the traditional vinyl mats that are normally used for martial arts dojos.
